Full Spectrum CBD Oil

7 Mountains Full Spectrum CBD Oil is CBD Oil as nature intended it.  This means the cannabinoid profile of our CBD Oil is the same as the legal hemp from which it was extracted; it has the same “full spectrum” of cannabinoids that occurred in the plant naturally.

Great hemp is just the beginning.  All of our CBD Oils are CO2 extracted, the cleanest and safest method in use today.  The oil is complemented by organic fractionated MCT carrier oil.  Every batch of 7 Mountains CBD is rigorously tested by an independent third-party laboratory.

However, this attention to safety and quality doesn’t change the fact that no CBD product from any manufacturer is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

How Do I Take It?

Most people put the CBD Oil under their tongue, keep it there for a period of time (how long varies, 30 seconds to a minute seems common) and then swallow it.

sublingual administration diagram

This is referred to as Sublingual Administration.  Certain compounds can be absorbed into the bloodstream through the mucous membranes of your mouth which are found below the tongue.  An advantage of sublingual administration is that the compound enters directly into the systemic circulation, bypassing the enterohepatic circulation. In this way, the compound does not undergo the hepatic first-pass effect in which a percentage of the compound is biotransformed before ever having the opportunity to enter the systemic circulation.

What's In It?

What’s actually in 7 Mountains Full Spectrum CBD Oil?  7 Mountains Full Spectrum CBD suspended in an oil which “carries” the CBD.  For this reason, it’s referred to as a “carrier oil”.

We use organic, fractionated coconut oil as our carrier oil.  Fractionated Coconut Oil is an essentially flavorless MCT Oil.  Many companies just say “MCT Oil” as though that’s an adequate description.  It isn’t!  MCT stands for medium chain tri-glyceride.  There are a lot of MCT oils, so make sure you’re getting a good one…like ours!

Why use a carrier oil, and not, say, carrier water?  Because CBD is a lipid (fat-based) molecule and blends readily with fractionated coconut oi, whereas it wouldn’t blend with coconut water.
